Star Circle was launched 12 years ago by the ABS-CBN Talent Center. The talent center was the first and largest group of artists in the country. When in 1992, headed by Mr. Johnny Manahan or mostly known as "Mr. M" started the talent quest for the Star Circle. Every year, star hopefuls came to ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. to audition for the Star Circle. On the first batch of the Star Circle, in were the late Rico Yan was launched as a certified Star Circle artist. On the next batches followed born today's hottest idols like Claudine Barretto, The Hunks, Rica Peralejo, John Lloyd Cruz and a lot more of talents. After 12 years, earning over 12 Batches and over 120 Star Circle members, the quest was applied on Philippine TV as a reality talent search. October 2003 to January 2004 were the audition dates of over 10 thousands plus of kids and teens aspirants. Trimming down the thousands of kids and teens to 200 and on February 27 2004 celebrated the 12 years of the Star Circle plus launching the biggest and newest reality talent search on Philippine TV, the Star Circle Quest with the Top 200 kid & teen aspirants who passed the first audition screenings plus over a hundred talents from Star Circle and ABS-CBN Talent Center. On March 01 2004 premieres Star Circle Quest from Mondays to Saturdays on TV who most called to be the Philippine version of U.S.A's American Idol. After weeks and still not reached a month, the Quest on TV earned top ratings than of it's rival program on the other network and goes higher and higher as the Quest goes hotter and hotter. The questors was trimmed down to the Magic Circle of 10 kids and teens until to only 5 will be left and 1 will be the Grand Questor. Star Circle Quest will turned to be the longest reality talent search on TV, as it will be followed with the Star Circle Quest Nationwide and Worldwide.

The Hosts :

Luis Manzano - The only son of the star for all seasons, Vilma Santos and respected award-winning actor, Edu Manzano. He is a model and endorser of the clothing brand "Human" and see him in commercials like "Libresse, Panty Liner", "Lucky Me, Pancit Canton" and "Close Up", which he endorses too. At the same time, busy being a VJ of "MYX" and hosting every sundays "ASAP Mania".

Jodi Sta. Maria - A Star Circle batch member in ABS-CBN and one of the main casts of the late youth orriented program "Tabing Ilog" and paired with Patrick Garcia. She is also one of the all-star cast of the late high-rated teleserye "Pangako Sayo" with Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa. Her first movie was in 2001, entitled "Jologs" under Star Cinema who gave her the big break in the industry.

*Luis and Jodi are also hosts of the first Revolutionary Fans day on TV entitled "ASAP Fanatic" with Heart Evangelista every Sundays at 2:00 PM after "ASAP Mania" only on ABS-CBN.
